Terms of Use - Savvant App
Last updated: September 13, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Savvant mobile application (the “App”), operated by AMDS (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By downloading, accessing, or using Savvant, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
Savvant is intended for users aged 13 and older. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you are legally able to accept these Terms.
2. Use of the App
Savvant is a reading and learning app that provides micro-learning content, discoveries, quizzes, progress tracking, topic personalization, and related educational features.
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:
- use the App in any way that violates applicable law or regulation
- interfere with or disrupt the App or related systems
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App, backend, or related services
- copy, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the App except as permitted by applicable law
- use the App in a way that could damage, disable, overload, or impair its operation
- misuse feedback, suggestion, or support features
3. Accounts and Sign in with Apple
Savvant may allow you to create or connect an account using Sign in with Apple.
You are responsible for maintaining access to your Apple account and for any activity associated with your use of the App through that sign-in method.
We may suspend or terminate access to account-related features if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or misused the App.
4. Personalization, Preferences, and App Data
Savvant may use your in-app choices, such as favorite topics, selected age group, language settings, reading progress, quiz progress, saved items, and feedback preferences, to provide and personalize the App experience.
Some information may be stored locally on your device. Some preference, feedback, and suggestion data may be sent to our backend systems to support app functionality, improve content quality, and create internal statistics.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how information is collected, used, stored, and shared.
5. Educational Content and Artificial Intelligence Use
Some learning content, summaries, discoveries, explanations, quiz content, or related features available in the App may be generated, structured, or assisted by artificial intelligence technologies.
Although we aim to provide useful and very high-quality content, AI-generated or AI-assisted material may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, or simplified explanations.
Savvant provides educational and informational content only. The App is not intended to provide professional, legal, financial, medical, safety, or other regulated advice.
You should not rely on the App as a substitute for professional advice tailored to your situation.
You remain responsible for how you interpret and use content provided through the App. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Savvant is not responsible for decisions, actions, or outcomes arising from reliance on AI-generated, AI-assisted, or educational content.
6. Subscriptions and Premium Features
Certain features of Savvant may require a paid subscription (“Premium”).
Subscriptions are billed by Apple through your App Store account and are governed by Apple’s billing terms. By purchasing a subscription, you agree that:
- payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
- your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period
- you can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings
- cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically create a refund for the current billing period
Any free trial or introductory offer, if offered, will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial or offer period ends.
We may change subscription features, pricing, or availability to the extent permitted by applicable law and App Store rules.
If a subscription renewal fails because of a billing issue, Apple may apply a billing grace period during which access to Premium features may continue for a limited time in accordance with Apple’s systems and policies.
7. Purchase Restoration and Refunds
If you previously purchased a subscription, you may be able to restore access using Apple’s purchase restoration features, subject to Apple’s systems and account status.
Refunds for App Store purchases are generally handled by Apple, not by Savvant. To request a refund, you should use Apple’s refund process:
https://reportaproblem.apple.com/
Savvant cannot guarantee that Apple will approve a refund request.
8. Feedback and Subject Suggestions
Savvant may allow you to submit optional feedback about discoveries, content, topics, or app features. Savvant may also allow you to suggest subjects or topics you would like to see.
By submitting feedback or suggestions, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to use, analyze, store, reproduce, modify, and incorporate that feedback or suggestion to improve the App, content, analytics, and related services.
Feedback and suggestions do not entitle you to compensation, attribution, ownership rights, or approval over how we use them.
9. Internal Statistics and Product Analysis
We may use app data, backend records, feedback, subject suggestions, and preference information to create internal statistics and reports, such as:
- thumbs up or thumbs down counts by topic or discovery
- favorite topic counts
- selected age-group distribution
- language distribution
- feedback trends
- subject suggestion trends
These statistics may be used for content planning, quality review, product improvement, business analysis, and internal dashboards or reporting tools.
10. External Links and Third-Party Services
The App may include links to third-party websites, articles, sources, documents, or resources. We are not responsible for the availability, content, accuracy, privacy practices, or policies of third-party services.
Savvant may also rely on Apple services for subscriptions, notifications, StoreKit, purchase restoration, App Store billing, and Sign in with Apple functionality. Your use of those services may also be subject to Apple’s own terms and policies.
11. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, branding, text, graphics, features, software, interface elements, and original content, is owned by or licensed to AMDS and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms.
You may not copy, redistribute, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App or its content except as expressly permitted by us or applicable law.
12. Availability and Changes to the App
We may modify, suspend, limit, replace, or discontinue any part of the App, including content, features, Premium benefits, backend services, or availability, at any time to the extent permitted by law.
We do not guarantee that any specific discovery, topic, quiz, feature, or content item will remain available permanently.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the App at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, misused the App, created risk for other users or systems, or if required for legal, security, or operational reasons.
You may stop using the App at any time. Deleting the App from your device will end your local use, but it will not automatically cancel any subscription managed by Apple.
14. Disclaimers
The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, and non-infringement.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AMDS and its affiliates, officers, employees, licensors, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, or content arising out of or related to your use of the App.
If applicable law does not allow certain limitations, some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how information is handled through Savvant.

Your continued use of the App after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
